My Philosophy

As a doula, I believe:

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to birth.

You should birth where you feel safest, with a team that respects you and with whom you feel comfortable, and in a way that best fits your unique values and priorities.

You should find a care provider you trust *and* trust your own knowledge and decisions about your body.

You should use both reason and emotion, good research *and* good soul-searching to guide you.

You should prepare for your birth. Consider all the paths and twists and turns that it could take *and* be open to the unpredictability of birth.

And, in the end, support other women so that they may do the same: with joy, compassion, and an open mind.

As a doula it is my honor to help you do all of this.
